about

This is Fake #6.

Recorded mostly during 2013, "Neoliberal Folk Songs" is a concept work about music in times of neoliberalism. Recorded in true neoliberal fashion: at night, in small rooms and an abandoned building, in the margins of what popular culture has left, and of course, as a one-man-unit.

The physical copy comes with an essay/pamphlet inspired by the works of Susan Sontag, Charles Ives, Mark Fisher & Aleida Assmann.

Layout of the CD by Tobias Lindemann, who also does a great blog about literature: libroskop.wordpress.com
